Captain Cook Cruises:
All cancellations are subject to an AUD$50.00 administration fee per person. Cancellation requests must be made in writing, and we strongly suggest the use of registered mail or fax. Cancellations received inside 60 days of sailing will be subject to cancellation charges at the following rates:
30-59 days; AUD$200.00 pp deposit.
within 15-29 days; 50% of fare.
14 days or less; 100% of fare.
no-shows at sailing; 100% of fare.
Cancellation fees, less the administration fee may be applied to another cruise if completed within 12 months of original booking.
Lets Go Surfing:
We surf in all weather and surf conditions providing it is safe. If the surf is too big, or the conditions unsafe, then we will reschedule the lesson. If you are unable to reschedule a lesson that we have cancelled then we can provide a refund. Otherwise there are no refunds, transfers (to other people), or cancellations. If you would like to reschedule a lesson you have booked, we need at least 24 hours notice. Failure to give the necessary notice will mean forfeiture of that lesson.

8-30 days prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee on full cost of tour/package
Within 7 days of departure – 100% cancellation fee on full cost of tour/package
BOOKING AMENDMENTS
All booking amendments must be emailed to info@emurun.com.au
The following applies to changes to tour type or departure date of an existing booking:
8 days or more from departure – any difference in tour prices will apply
Within 7 days of departure – full cancellation fees and the full cost of the new tour will apply
If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be given.

All bookings must be confirmed a minimum of 72 hours before departure by email or phone.

Camping Tours
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 3 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, toiletries, torch (flash light), swim wear, towel, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow, a small overnight bag (please leave your luggage at your Alice Springs accommodation due to space limitations on the bus).
2 Day Package
Travel voucher, water bottle (capacity 3 litres), strong non-slip walking shoes, hat (wide brimmed is best), flynet, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, casual and comfortable clothing (cool, light clothing is best in summer and warm clothing for winter), travel pillow.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS & FOOD ALLERGIES
We provide healthy, quality meals on our tours. We are able to cater for one of the following special dietary requests upon request: vegetarian, gluten free or dairy free. If you have a food allergy (eg peanuts) please advise at the time of booking, and carry any necessary medication with you on tour.
AGE & FITNESS LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
For our camping tours, the minimum age is 8. All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for their care. Any packages that include dorm accommodation are not available for children, however we can create a suitable package for families upon request. We have no upper age limit on our tours, although some trips can be physically demanding. For our camping tours, a real spirit of adventure and a medium level of fitness is required as the tours are fast paced. It is important to note that Central Australia experiences extreme weather conditions during summer. Participation is required from passengers on our camping tours for things such as meal preparation and firewood collection (as requested by guide).
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Emu Run recommends that all travellers take out travel insurance to protect you from costs of injury and cancellation fees.
PHOTOS & MARKETING
By booking our tours you consent to us using images of you that are taken on tour for any advertising or promotional purposes. You grant us permission to use these images royalty free for publicity and promotional purposes worldwide.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Emu Run Experience reserves the right to amend the itinerary of any of the tours and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure. A minimum number of passengers is required to operate each tour. It may therefore be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour. We accept no responsibility for loss, stolen or damaged property and recommend that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance. Emu Run will accept no responsibility for any injury, illness or other such accident sustained whilst on tour. Any children travelling will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian. All passengers must wear shoes at all times, and be wearing hats and sunscreen.
DATA PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of your tour and to send you marketing material in relation to special offers or events. Emu Run Experience may disclose information to our agents, suppliers or service providers to enable us to operate your tour. We will not sell, trade or otherwise transfer information you have supplied to us. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information.
UPDATING THE CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
Emu Run Experience reserves the right to update and/or alter the conditions of travel and fine print at any time. It is the agent and passengers responsibility to be familiar with the most up to date conditions of travel, which are available on our website.

Australian Day Tours:
DAY TOURS
· Tours cancelled within 48 hours will incur a 50% fee.
· If cancelled within 24hrs of travel or passengers Fail to Load 100% cancellation fee applies.

ACCOMMODATED/OVERNIGHT TOURS
· A $150 cancellation fee applies for accommodated tours cancelled 3 days or more prior to departure.

· 100% cancellation fee applies if cancelled within 24hrs of departure or if passengers fail to load.
Cool Dingo Tour:
Bookings cancelled more than 48 hrs prior to departure will incur no cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled between 24 - 48 hrs prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled less than 24 hrs prior to departure or failure to board the tour will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Non utilised components not refunded.
Vagabond Cruises:
Minimum 14 days notice is required for a full refund to apply, there's no refunds for cancellations after this period, change of mind or no shows on the day of the cruise. Pre- Booking is essential.

All cancellations are subject to a 15% cancellation fee.
Cancellations within 24 hours of date of travel are non refundable.
Booking dates can be changed, without penalty, subject to availability.
If a tour is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the operator, a full refund will be provided, or the opportunity to change the booking date.
Bunyip Adventure Tour:
Passenger cancellation/date change of any tour, in less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to a departure time will result in a 50% refund of money paid. Cancellation within 24 hours of tour departure or failure to take up a booked tour will result in a 100% forfeiture of the tour fare. Please note also that a “cancellation” includes a change to the date of a tour booking that requires the original booking to be cancelled.
SA Eco Tours :
TOUR TRIP AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
Australian Private Tours & Charters also T/A SA ECO TOURS operates tours in regions where standards of accommodation, transport, safety, hygiene, medical facilities, and other infrastructure may, at times, not be of the standard that you are used to at home.
By booking with Australian Private Tours & Charters you acknowledge that participation in all trips involves inherent risks that may not be present in the case of conventional or less demanding holidays. These risks include, without limitation, the possibility of injury or death, psychological trauma, disease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience, and discomfort. The possibility of experiencing all or some of these risks is likely to be higher if participating in any of our tours that involves visiting remote or unstable regions, or regions where there is dangerous wildlife.
CANCELLATION BY YOU:
If you wish to cancel all or any part of your booking, notification of cancellation must be received by Australian Private Tours & Charters via email. The date of the cancellation is the date on which Australian Private Tours & Charters receives this notification.
Charges applicable as follows, per person:
If cancelled more than 30 days before departure and money has already been paid to Australian Private Tours & Charters, passengers will receive a full refund minus any processing or bank charges.
If cancelled 30 days or less before departure, there will be no refund given.
For any booking for which an initial deposit (part payment) was payable, payment of the remainder of the tour cost must be made at least 31 days prior to the departure of your tour. If you do not pay the balance of your total booking cost within this time frame, your booking may be terminated and you may lose your deposit. Additional Australian Private Tours & Charters cancellation penalties may apply.
No refunds will be made if you leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals, or services not utilised.
CANCELLATION BY AUSTRALIAN PRIVATE TOURS & CHARTERS:
Australian Private Tours & Charters reserves the right to cancel a departure and will advise you of such cancellations as soon as possible. If due to “Force Majeure” or government travel advice, Australian Private Tours & Charters reserves the right to cancel a departure at any time.
With any form of cancellation, Australian Private Tours & Charters will do their best to offer you alternative arrangements. If the price of your alternative booking is of a lower value than the original booking, we will refund the difference to you (in case of “Force Majeure” or government travel advice refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs).
Australian Private Tours & Charters will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you.
COVID VACCINATIONS:
Any passenger travelling with Australian Private Tours & Charters also T/A SA ECO TOURS must have been fully vaccinated against covid. Proof of the vaccination must be emailed to our office at the time of booking.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY:
Except where stated otherwise, Australian Private Tours & Charters acts as an agent for service providers when planning for your trip. Where Australian Private Tours & Charters provides services, it will do so with due care and skill.
Australian Private tours & Charters is not responsible for the acts and omissions of others, including tour guides, airlines and accommodation providers for any loss, damage, death, injury, or expense (including loss of money paid in advance), which you may incur as a consequence of the acts and omissions of others. You warrant that you have not relied on any representation made by Australian Private Tours & Charters any travel agent or other representative, which has not been stated expressly in their brochures.
FORCE MAJEURE:
Australian Private Tours & Charters will not be liable for any delay in, change to or cancellation of trips due to “Force Majeure”. “Force Majeure” means a circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Australian Private Tours & Charters and includes, but is not limited to, war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, disease, industrial or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions and vehicle breakdown.
CHANGES TO YOUR HOLIDAY:
You acknowledge that travelling with Australian Private Tours & Charters requires a degree of flexibility, good humour, and an understanding that the itinerary, accommodation, and/or modes of transport may change, even after a tour’s commencement, without prior notice due to local circumstances.
Changes may occur because of “Force Majeure”, poor road conditions, weather, the availability of tickets, vehicle breakdowns, changes in transport schedules, or other circumstances beyond Australian Private Tours & Charters control or which simply cannot be foreseen. This includes state lockdowns due to viruses or any other Government regulations.
Australian Private Tours & Charters does not accept any responsibility for loss of enjoyment, inability to meet flights or other delays resulting from circumstances beyond Australian Private Tours & Charters’ control.
You acknowledge that group sizes may also vary during the duration of the tour. The information about trips given in brochures, Trip notes and Pre departure information are subject to change.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Adequate and valid travel insurance is highly recommended for all passengers travelling with Australian Private Tours & Charters. Your travel insurance should cover accidents, injury, illness, death medical expenses, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance and personal liability. Australian Private Tours & Charters also recommends it covers cancellation of tours, curtailments and loss of luggage and personal effects.
HEALTH, FITNESS, TRIP GRADES AND AGE LIMITS:
It is your responsibility to advise Australian Private Tours & Charters of any pre-existing medical condition and/or disabilities that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you requiring medical attention, or that might affect the normal conduct of a tour and the enjoyment of other trip members. Australian Private Tours & Charters reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel your booking and refund the money paid by you, less any unrecoverable costs, based on this advice or lack of its provision. Australian Private Tours & Charters also reserves the right to cancel your participation in a trip at any time, including after the commencement of your trip, with no right of refund if your medical condition and/or disability could be reasonably expected to affect the normal conduct of the trip and the enjoyments of other trip members.
Generally, we do not allow single travellers under the age of 18 years on Australian Private Tours & Charters scheduled itineraries. However, we will occasionally make exceptions for under 18s travelling with their legal guardian. The decision for any person under 18 years of age to travel on our scheduled itineraries is at the absolute discretion of the management of Australian Private Tours & Charters. Ultimately Sydney:
No refund will be paid for bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time or in a no-show situation. A 10% fee applies to all other cancellations.

Melbourne River Cruises:
Sightseeing River Cruises cancelled 72 hours or less prior to departure will not be eligible for a refund.
Cruising Restaurant bookings cancelled with 7 days or less prior to departure will not be eligible for a refund.
Sensational Sydney Cruises:
Cancellation Policy: Individual “Cruise like a local” bookings: Cancellations made more than 72 hours before travel (as logged in the Operator's system audit) may be made without penalty and a full refund will be given to the Customer. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before travel will attract a 100% cancellation fee and no refund at the Operator's discretion. The Operator has the right to retain all deposits received up to the amount of the cancellation fee and invoices will be issued for any further amounts outstanding.
Groups or Exclusive Charters (12 paxs or more): Cancellations made more than 30 clear working days before travel (as logged in the Operator's system audit) may be made without penalty and a full refund will be given to the Customer. Cancellations made less than 30 clear working days before travel will attract a 50% cancellation fee. The Operator has the right to retain all deposits received up to the amount of the cancellation fee and invoices will be issued for any further amounts outstanding.
Weather Cancellations: Cancellations made by the Operator due to inclement weather will entitle the Customer to a full refund of the Fare Price.
Other Cancellations: Cancellations may be made at the Operators discretion due to mechanical breakdowns which may result in the vessel being unable to operate. If this occurs the Customer will receive a full refund of the Fare Price.
Fail to Board: It is the Passenger's responsibility to ensure that they arrive on time for the departure of the vessel. Failure to do so will mean that the Passenger forfeits the full fare price to the Operator.
Safety Requirements for Travel:
1. Disabled Passengers: The Operator recommends that disabled persons seek medical advice before participating. Disabled Passengers cruising aboard Calypso do so at their own risk and the Operator accepts no liability for any damage or injury caused.
2. Pregnant Persons: Pregnant persons cruising with Calypso do so at their own risk and the Operator accepts no liability for any damage or injury caused.
3. Intoxicated Persons: The Operator does not condone excessive drinking and no intoxicated person will be allowed to embark the vessel named Calypso.
Minimum Age Requirement: There are no minimum age requirements for children to board Calypso. Children are the responsibility of their parents at all times. The Skipper and other crew members are not responsible for their care or safety. Life jackets are available on board for children and adults alike. Adult prices will apply from age 13 upwards.
Times & Duration: May vary slightly at the skipper's discretion and depending on sea and weather conditions. The 'Cruise like a local' tour commences at 12.30pm and concludes at 4.30pm. Groups and exclusive charter embarkment and disembarkment times are arranged at the time of booking. Passengers are required to be at the pick up location 15 minutes prior to nominated departure.
Days of Operation: The 'Cruise like a local' tour operates daily from 1st September to 1st June (inc), 12.30pm, returning 4.30pm.
Minimum Numbers: 'Cruise like a local' departs with a minimum of two passengers and will cater up to 12 people. If you have numbers that exceed this, you will need to make a private booking.
Marine Insurance: Sea Sydney cruises carry full insurance and public liability. Calypso is a charter vessel, survey number 21415.
No Warranty: The Operator does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, suitability or reliability of any information, service or product listed on the Operator's website.

Cancellations made after 6pm the night before tour or 'no show' may incur a 50% charge.
Day Tours Tasmania:
Bruny Island Bushwalking and Nature Tour: Within 24 hours or no show 100% of tour price
Overnight Explorer Tour: Within 72 hours or no show: 100% of tour price
Sydney Pearl Cruises:
No refunds provided for cancellations.
Skydive Airlie Beach:
Cancellations: A 100% cancellation fee will apply to confirmed bookings cancelled by you within 48 hours of actual jump date! Rescheduling of your booking within 48 hours incurs a $110 fee!
Oceanic Victor:
Customers may make changes to their bookings up to 24 hours prior to visiting, these changes are made by the Agent on the Rezdy online booking platform.
If a customer wishes to cancel their booking the following conditions apply;
• A confirmed order is locked in. Changes can be made up to 24 hours prior to the original booking time, but is non-refundable.
• A pending order may be cancelled with a full refund.
• No shows are non-refundable.
• Cancellations of confirmed orders inside 7 days prior to the visit are non-refundable.
Oceanic Victor operates in a marine environment, and there is an inherent risk of cancellation due to heavy weather.
Oceanic Victor reserves the right to cancel visits if extreme weather or other conditions pose a threat to the safety of customers. In the event of cancellation by the operator, customers will be re-booked for an alternative date or provided with a full refund. Refunds will only be provided to the person who made the booking.
